Ambra is the brainchild of Andrea Ienna, founder of San Paolo Hospitality and a key player in the NYC hospitality industry having launched successful ventures like Capizzi. He’s joined forces with Employees Only mixology master Keith Larry, who consulted on the drinks menu. The result is specialty cocktails and an extensive, hand-selected wine list that sets this West Village restaurant apart.

MEALS INSPIRED BY ITALY, FROM THE START

The executive chef is Josh DeLucie, the name behind famed restaurants like Empire Diner, The Lion, and Waverly Inn. He brings years of experience and a passion for serving exceptional food to Ambra. Using the best ingredients available, the focus is on quality from start to finish. The pizza dough is made with flour sourced from Italy, and pasta is made by hand or sourced from Naples.

There’s also a great emphasis on value, with a goal to provide their guests with the best possible experience, from the food to the service to the setting. The interiors were designed by Legeard Studio, incorporating ambient amber hues inspired by the restaurant’s namesake. The space is perfect for any gathering – big or small – with indoor dining for up to 75 people and event options available.
